At Family Heir‑Loom Weavers, visitors can observe coverlets that are made by weaving two halves separately and joining them by hand, a technique common in the 1800s. The workshop offers full, queen, and king‑size pieces in several traditional patterns such as bird and bush, eagle, house, and railroad. Each coverlet can be personalized on the corner block with a name or date, and the finished product can be used on either side.
