Diamond Bear Brewing, founded in 2000, is the first production brewery in Little Rock in more than fifteen years. The plant makes a variety of beers with classic European techniques, using only malted barley, hops, yeast, and Arkansas water, and it does not add adjuncts or preservatives. The brewery’s name reflects Arkansas’s diamond mine and its historical nickname as the Bear State, giving it a distinctly local identity.
