The Otter Creek Brewing plant in Middlebury, Vermont, began producing craft ales in 1991 and moved to a larger facility in 1995. In 2002 the Wolaver family took ownership, and the brewery now makes both Otter Creek and Wolaver's brands, all of which are certified organic and brewed with local Vermont water, domestic malt, hops, and the company’s own yeast. Tour participants can see the small‑batch brewing and bottling operations that emphasize freshness and consistent quality.
