The Kona Brewing Company, established in 1995 by Cameron Healy and Spoon Khalsa, remains headquartered in Kailua-Kona on Hawaii’s Big Island. Since its first year, the brewery’s output has risen by 585 percent, reaching 310,000 gallons per year with a six‑person team. The plant houses a mash tun, brew kettle, whirlpool, ten fermenters, five conditioning tanks, two grain silos, and supplies 4,000 kegs that circulate throughout the state.
