Coopers Cider Mill, Apple Butter, & Jelly Factory

Bucyrus, OH

Visitors can watch apple butter simmer in 50‑gallon copper kettles over a wood fire inside a screened‑in porch. The site contains a 1912 42‑inch rack and cloth cider mill, one of Ohio’s largest presses, capable of 450 gallons per hour, though it is no longer operated regularly. The press is driven by a pump dated 1867, and the factory also produces apple butter and jelly in small batches using home‑canning jars.
