The Glen Echo Art Glass Consortium in Glen Echo, MD offers visitors the chance to watch both kiln‑formed and blown glass processes. The consortium is led by four studio glass artists-in-residence and provides classes covering a variety of techniques such as kiln casting, roll‑up, pate de verre, Venetian bead making, flameworking, and glass painting. The studio and gallery are open to the public on Fridays through Sundays, and the glassworks studio can be visited for observation when classes are not in session.
