The Phoenix Gold Mine is managed by the Mosch family, who have been involved in Colorado gold mining for generations. Visitors observe active mining operations and can participate in gold panning along the stream, keeping any gold recovered. The tour includes a picnic area above the mine, allowing guests to spend a full day on site.
