Bluffton, OH
The Bluffton Slaw Cutter Company, founded in 1915 in Bluffton, Ohio, has produced slaw cutters and graters for nearly a century. Its manufacturing line features blades forged by a traditional hammering technique that keeps them sharp, and the shop still operates with equipment and a building dating from the late 1800s and early 1900s. A single antique electric motor drives the line shaft that powers the production line.
